Utilizing sustainable resources

You can have a sustainable home and still have it filled with the lovely grain of wood—not all wood comes from destructive clear-cuts. We reclaim wood from old buildings, and mill  logs that are would otherwise go to the landfill.

Carbon footprint

The carbon footprint of a building should be positive, and at Shaw Builders, we use environmentally friendly products and processes. If this is something you are interested, in we can work with you to make your carbon footprint as low as possible.

How we build

Shaw Mill and Cabinet is a design/build company. We will work with you to create your home, whether you are starting with a blank slate, or are already working with an architect or designer (or are an architect yourself), we can design a  home that will be both beautiful and cost-effective to build.
